so i was enjoying a boring ass day of work when i decided to read my vibe magazine. inside i saw some shit that shocked me. i am well aware of the hiv/aids virus and what it can do to you so seeing it in actual magazine wasn't shocking. But i read something that made my skin crawl:
-"5000 young americans will be diagnosed with HIV this year. 70% will be black."
-"Causes of death for black women ages 18-34"
1. HIV
2. Accidents
3. Cancer
Now If that shit up there isn't scary, idk what is. It may sound lame but its soooo important for people who are having sex, both young and old, to protect themselves by using a condom or some other form of protection. It may feel better with the condom off, but do you really want to risk your life for only about 10mins of pleasure? Some people even think its cool to have multiple sex partners and F around without condoms. Since when is having unprotected sex so cool? When the whole world is infected with Aids will it become the latest "must have"? Maybe we should start thinking right when it comes to our sexual happenings. December 1 is AIDS day. Go get tested and start protecting whats real to you. Your LIFE.
